Child Sponsorship
Percentage Breakdown

Your monthly support helps us provide the following services to your sponsored child. The following percentages provide information on where your funds are directed.

35% - Essential Ranch Personnel
The two sets of House Parents and the Ranch Director are essential in providing overall care for the children and youth that now live at the Lighthouse Ranch. Your support helps cover these salaries.

30% - Nutritional and Well Balanced Meals
Meals are purchased and a menu is followed in accordance with the recommendations we have received from an experienced Nutritionist. This area covers the transportation, purchasing and preparation costs.

18% - Education (Formal and Informal)
The boys at the Ranch are immediately evaluated and placed into an educational program upon their arrival at their new home. This category includes transportation, school supplies, registration costs and the salary for our special-needs teacher at the Ranch.

12% - Medical and Emotional Support
Providing medical and emotional support to the boys is a key ingredient in providing a loving and caring home. It is here where your support provides for a well trained Psychologist to heal emotional wounds as well as helping to cover the costs of medical attention for the boys.

3% - Recreational Activities
Here's the fun part! The kids enjoy having regular sports days and outings on a number of occasions each year. This might include a trip to the beach or a park and most definitely includes Christian camps each year.

2% - Administration Expenses
In order to keep you up to date with what is happening in the lives of your sponsored child, mailings, photos, translation time and equipment are all necessary in providing these services.
